Notre mission a officiellement commencée par la visite de la Délégation Générale du Québec à Londres. Cette organisation a pour but d’encadrer les projets québécois, sur le plan politique et public, commercial, culturel et économique. Elle couvre l’ensemble du Royaume-Uni, l’Irlande et les pays nordiques. Nous avons d’abord discuté avec William Samman, l’attaché commercial de la délégation. Marie Morin nous a ensuite démontré l’étalement culturel québécois dans les pays couverts par la délégation. Pour terminer, Katia Grimmard et Brigitte Bertout nous ont parlé de l’implication politique dans les différents pays. Nous avons été très impressionnés par l’effort que l’équipe de la Délégation effectue afin de positionner le Québec sur le plan anglophone. Grâce à son implication, certains québécois pourront avoir la chance de percer dans leur domaine à Londres. Ce groupe québécois est également un pied sur la terre anglaise afin de fournir au Québec des informations sur les territoires qu’il couvre.

 Our mission officially began with our visit to the Quebec Government Office in London. This organization aims to support Quebec projects both on the political, commercial, cultural and financial aspects. It covers the United Kingdom as well as Ireland and the nordic countries. We have first discussed with William Samman, the delegation's commercial attaché. Then, Marie Morin showed us the reach of Quebec's culture in the concerned countries. Katia Grimmard and Brigitte Bertout concluded by covering the delegation's political implication. We have been impressed by the team's efforts to promote and support Quebec in the anglophone part of Europe.  Thanks to their work, many Quebecois are and will be given the opportunity to practice their jobs and enter a new market. The delegation is also a way to inform Quebec of the political and economical situations of said countries from the inside.
