Estefania Fuentes Velazquez

Estefania est consultante indépendante, elle compte plus de dix ans d'expérience internationale dans le domaine de l’éducation universitaire, particulièrement dans le développement des partenariats et des projets de recherche conjoints; le recrutement et la mobilité étudiante. Elle a travaillé à l'ÉTS à Montréal pendant quatre ans, où elle a coordonné différentes initiatives internationales, en vue de développer des collaborations avec des universités en Amérique latine et d'attirer des talents scientifiques à

l'ÉTS.


Depuis 2011, elle est représentante de l’ÉTS en Europe; sa base d’opérations est située à Bruxelles, son mandat consiste à développer des partenariats avec des institutions européennes en Allemagne, Pays-Bas, Royaume-Uni, Républiqe Tchèque et Belgique. En plus, elle participe à plusieurs activités de recrutement et de représentation institutionnelle en France; elle gère l'accord de coopération entre l'ÉTS et le CONACYT (Conseil des Sciences et de la Technologie du Mexique).


Estefania est née à Mexico City. En 2007, elle a immigré au Canada. Depuis 2011. elle a élu domicile en Belgique. Son parcours académique comprend un Global MBA de Thunderbird School of Global Management- Arizona State University et un baccalauréat en marketing de la Tec de Monterrey à Mexico. Elle est une passionnée des thématiques reliées à l’immigration, l’interculturalité et les voyages; elle publie sur son blog Pangeanblog des articles courts sur ses expériences en tant qu'immigrante. Pendant ses temps libres, elle aime lire des romans historiques.


Estefania is an independent consultant with more than ten years of international experience in education partnerships, joint research projects, student recruitment and mobility programs. She worked four years at the ETS in Montréal where she coordinated different international initiatives particularly to develop collaborations with universities in Latin America and to attract scientific talent to the ETS.


Since 2011 She is a Brussels-based European representative of the ETS. She develops partnerships with European institutions in Germany, Nederlands, UK, Tchèque Republic, and Belgium; she also participates in several recruitment and representation activities in France; and manages the cooperation agreement between the ETS and the CONACYT (Science and Technology Council in Mexico).


Estefania was born in Mexico City, in 2007 she immigrated to Canada; and since 2011 Belgium is her home, her academic background includes a Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management- Arizona State University and a Bachelor degree in Marketing from The Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico. She is passionated about travelling and immigration and intercultural matters, she publishes short articles about her experiences as an immigrant in her blog Pangeanblog. During her free time she likes to read historical novels.
